For generations, men have been taught to stay silent, stay strong and carry on, even when the weight feels unbearable. And often at the cost of their emotional well being.
If you have ever felt the pressure to hold it all together while quietly struggling inside, you are not alone.
The Huddle is 90 minutes to put that down. No fixing, no performance, no pressure to share more than you want to.
Ninety minutes, three things
A real conversation
Guided, honest talk about the things men do not usually say out loud. Led, not left to drift.
Something to take with you
Practical ways to notice what is going on underneath, and what to do with it.
Other men in the room
You listen as much as you talk. Turn your camera off if you want to. Showing up is enough.
Wherever you are, you can be in the room.
The Huddle is fully online and open to men anywhere in the world. There is no referral, no diagnosis and no file. Just a seat.
- Wednesday, October 14 · 6:30pm to 8:00pm Eastern Time
Facilitated by Kunle Ifabiyi, MSW, RSW
Kunle is a Registered Social Worker with Natacha Pennycooke Psychotherapy and Consulting Services, an award winning, trauma competent mental health practice. He leads The Huddle, and he also facilitates our six week group, Stronger Together: Just Men.
So the man holding the room on October 14 is the same man who holds it for the six weeks after. If you carry on, you are not starting again with a stranger.
The Huddle is a taste of something bigger.
Our six week group, Stronger Together: Just Men, starts Wednesday October 28 and runs in this same slot. Come to The Huddle first, see how it feels, and decide afterwards. There is no obligation either way.
Read about the six week group →Please note: The Huddle is a psychoeducational session, not therapy and not a substitute for individual treatment. It is a space to learn, connect and be heard. If you are looking for one to one support, our team would be honoured to help. Meet the team and complete an intake form here.
